Don't buy Truvativ Stylo cranks anyone! I took my bike in yesterday as I'm getting some play from the bottom bracket area. I've only done 4 rides! It seems like the bearings have gone as everything seems to be tight. Am planning on paying the difference for some Raceface Atlas cranks so I can get on with some riding!
Aside from that me and the Jim's had an awesome ride round the MBR route on tuesday. Such a good trail!

Buddy. Thats rough. Jim said you were having problems. Really bad quality,.. However, the RF atlas are cool and I am sure that you will be riding again soon. When are you planning to get it all sorted???
2. On another subject I have bled my disc brakes after spongy and pump-up problems and despite not realising that there was a second seal to remove and having to call Leisure lakes (and made to feel like an ape) I have on/off brakes again rather than ooonnnnn/oooffffffff. Cool. Lots of air came out. Would recommend (unless you have a 3 week old bike!). Talk soon about a ride over Xmas. Hoping to get time to do MBR. Really want to do it again - I love ROCK me.
Hey, am looking forward to marin this weekend and and mbr in the week. Hopefully Ian will have his bike back but I doubt with new cranks. My bike is running ok at the moment. Gears aren't great, need to set the stop. keeps over shifting behind the cassette body. got sum new rim tape the othe day and I am now going to fit it. wondering if that is why I pinch flatted at the mbr.
Glad your brakes are sorted, I have been suffering with pump up recently since it had new pads at goldtec.....
If they are pumping up would definately try to bleed them (unless they put softer pads on?). Mine are much better and got some free spacers from Leisurelakes today. Must admit that surprised to hear you got a pinch (with "pro-tection"). I am sure you have ridden stuff at least as rocky in the past.
Anyhoo, chilliconcarni for T so best do one. Thinking of either 27th or 28th for a ride... Not sure which yet. Let me know your thoughts.
